Walnut Canyon Study

Welcome to the Walnut Canyon Special Study website.

The website is organized as follows:

• The Background tab provides information on the special study, including background information, overview of the study, major steps in the study, and a general project schedule
• The Public Involvement tab provides information on the current public outreach.  The current public comment period for the preliminary management options ended July 31, 2011.
  
• The Public Comment Entry tab allows you to provide comments on the project on-line.
• The Project Information tab includes downloadable project documents that are available to date. The summary report for the May-July 2011 comment period and comment database are available. (see Project Information Tab).

The website will be updated as appropriate times throughout the project.
The US Forest Service, Coconino National Forest; the National Park Service, Walnut Canyon National Monument; the City of Flagstaff; and Coconino County are partners in this Special Study.
